Matt Reams
Director of Golf Operations
Matt Reams began his tenure as Director of Golf Operations for Grants Pass Golf Club in January 2010 following nearly 20 years of professional golf industry experience.  Matt’s education hails from the original PGM program at Ferris State University (MI) with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a minor in PGM.  Following graduation, Matt credits the expert tutelage received from some our country’s best professionals like Bob Elliot at Northwood Club, Dallas TX and Kent Cayce at Congressional Country Club, Bethesda, MD as catalyst for his own career management positions at Thorntree Country Club, TX, Carmel Valley Ranch Resort, Carmel, CA and Sweetwater Country Club, Sugar Land, Texas.  Now, fresh off a 3 year tour in southern Colorado where Matt and his team created the opening for Cougar Canyon Golf Links, Matt comes to Grants Pass Golf Club with expert industry experience that includes, tournament operations, expert individual & group instruction, personnel leadership, management & training, accounting & fiscal responsibility, retail merchandising, marketing & promotions, club membership sales and service and operation strategies.

Jeff Ott
First Assistant Golf Professional
Jeff is the new Assistant Professional at Grants Pass Golf Club and this is his first experience in the golf industry.  He recently enrolled in the PGA/PGM apprentice program where his goal is to become a PGA of America member.  He is originally from Southern Idaho, having grown up in the Boise area.  Jeff graduated from the San Diego Golf Academy in 2005 with a degree in Associates Degree of Applied Business with Golf Management Emphasis.  He is excited about the opportunity to represent Grants Pass Golf Club and is enjoying living in Grants Pass. Jeff has begun giving private lessons and is looking forward to meeting everyone at GPGC.
