Meet the Professional Staff

Kent DeRocher
PGA Head Professional

Kent became the Head Golf Professional at Grants Pass Golf Club in August of 2002.  Kent has been in the golf business the past 15 years with jobs in Washington, California and in Oregon.  Kent is a PGA of America member.  He also played college golf at both the University of California Los Angeles and at the University of Washington.  Kent has been a custom club fitter for Titleist for the past 10 years.  Kent has given over 2500 lessons since he became a member in the PGA in 1994. He helps out with both the boys and girls golf teams at Grants Pass High School, Hidden Valley High School and North Valley High School.  Kent is more than willing to answer any questions you may have regarding the golf operation or the lesson programs here at Grants Pass Golf Club.

Jeff Ott
First Assistant Golf Professional

Jeff is the new Assistant Professional at Grants Pass Golf Club and this is his first experience in the golf industry.  He recently enrolled in the PGA/PGM apprentice program where his goal is to become a PGA of America member.  He is originally from Southern Idaho, having grown up in the Boise area.  Jeff graduated from the San Diego Golf Academy in 2005 with a degree in Associates Degree of Applied Business with Golf Management Emphasis.  He is excited about the opportunity to represent Grants Pass Golf Club and is enjoying living in Grants Pass. Jeff has begun giving private lessons and is looking forward to meeting everyone at GPGC.
